The Peacock Project Walkers Raise over £1,300.
Many thanks to everyone who helped to organise and participate in this fundraising event and to the kind hearted and generous people who sponsored us.
A special thanks to Katie aged 10 who raise so much money but was unable to walk due to illness. However all was not lost thanks to Flynn who did the many steps needed in her place.

While many were still curled up under their duvets, 20 intrepid volunteers braced themselves for a walk along the icy Rochdale Canal. Their mission was to raise money for The Peacock Project, a unique support group for those affected by Hep B and C in the Calderdale area.
There to cheer them on at their starting point at Sowerby Bridge, was Chris McCafferty, local MP and patron of The Peacock Project.
As the group stepped out into the winter sunshine, arrangements were being made to deliver some refreshments for a well deserved break – Olle’s special soup and Shabana’s onion bhaji’s.
Approximately 6.5 miles later, they arrived at their final destination of Hebden Bridge. Tired but exhilarated, a great sense of achievement was felt as the walk had raised over £1300.00 for The Peacock Project.
